Blend the mixture: Add the dates, melted coconut oil, almond butter, cacao powder, and salt. Blend until the mixture is fully combined and sticks together when pressed between your fingers. Too Dry? Add 1–2 teaspoons warm water and re-blend.Too Soft? Add 1–2 tablespoons extra ground almonds. Roll into balls: Scoop about 1 tablespoon per ball and roll into smooth balls using your hands.
Chill: Transfer the balls to a plate or tray and freeze for 1 hour to firm up.
Store: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Nut-Free Option: Swap almonds and almond butter for sunflower seeds and sunflower seed butter.
Oil-Free Option: Replace the coconut oil with 1–2 tablespoons warm water or extra almond butter (texture will be slightly softer).
